This electric whiskey smoking kit has quickly become a favorite of mine. I've always loved smoked Old Fashioneds, but ordering them at a bar or restaurant can get expensive fast. With this kit, I can recreate them at home—and honestly, they come out even tastier. The device is also super simple to operate: just power it up, add some wood chips, and hit a button to get started. Cherry wood chips are my go-to; they give the cocktail a wonderful fruity note, plus a smoky scent that makes me feel like I'm outside.

I love that there's no need for a torch, just add wood chips, switch it on, and you're set. It infuses drinks with rich smoky flavor in just seconds.

This thing completely shifts the vibe at gatherings, and the smoke it produces comes through clean. What's really impressive is how long each wood jar lasts, just a small pinch gives you three smoking sessions, and the jars come generously filled. I've now used it three times, most recently last weekend. My only wish is that the wood flavor profiles stood out more distinctly from one another, though that could just be me.

I originally purchased this for my brother's birthday... but ended up having to get one for myself, too. I've only just started experimenting with it, but the apple smoking chips were fantastic paired with my Sheepdog whiskey.
